…And the winner is… 001 Taxis!
For the second year running, we’ve been voted Oxford’s Taxi Company of the Year!
Awarded by SME News a flagship awards programme for UK businesses, it recognises the quality of service and customer care throughout the year across the taxi operators based in the city. The magazine looks to reward the hardworking individuals and firms working in the demanding transport sector for their innovation and excellence in their business practice as well as their outstanding overall performance.
The award comes hot off the back of 001 Taxis winning two awards at the recent Professional Driver QSi Awards, an organisation that recognises excellence within the taxi industry.
In receiving the award 001 Taxis, General Manager Aaron Thorn commented, “I’m delighted we’ve won this award, and for the second year running. It is testimony to the hard work by our drivers and central team. It displays our commitment to delivering the highest quality possible to all of our customers throughout the year.”
001 Taxis has been serving the people of Oxfordshire for over 50 years and has a base right in the heart of the city at St Aldates, in New Inn Yard and opposite the town hall as well as bases throughout the city and surrounding areas. With over 400 vehicles, many hybrids, 001 Taxis has established itself as Oxford’s favourite taxi company.
Aaron concluded, “Our passion for excellence won’t stop here. We are working on several initiatives that will enable us to support the transport needs of Oxfordshire while at the same time helping to reduce our carbon footprint as well as improving the air quality.
